Prioritize quality, aim for a smaller file, or set a target size. Export MP4 with HEVC or H.264 and choose a resolution.

See measured before-and-after sizes. Zoom into the same frame. Save and verify a new copy before choosing to replace the original.
Results depend on the original and your settings. Compression is not lossless and savings are not guaranteed. HDR requires HEVC; target size and 720p are not available for HDR.
A few good questions.
What can I use for free?
Compress 2 real videos successfully each day, up to 2 in a batch. The allowance resets at midnight UTC. Samples, failures and cancellations do not count. Free and Pro use the same quality settings; comparison and saving remain available.
What does Pro unlock?
No daily video count or batch selection limit. Choose a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The App Store purchase screen shows your actual price and currency. Buying lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription.
Will my originals be deleted?
Never automatically. Keep both the original and the compressed copy if you like. The app only asks Photos to delete an original after a new copy is saved and verified and you explicitly choose to replace it.
How do I restore or cancel?
Tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen using the same Apple Account. Manage auto-renewal in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Request refunds through Apple.
Why is processing slow or saving failing?
Large and HDR videos take longer. Keep the app in the foreground, check available space and Photos access, and allow an internet connection for iCloud originals. Failed processing keeps the original intact, so you can adjust settings and retry.
